Software Solutions for Physical Risk Assessments

June 2024 - June 2025

We develop software solutions to accurately perform physical risk assessments for a range of environmental hazards in partnership with ACARA Climate, a forward thinking startup specializing in customizable environmental risk assessment tools. This project included deploying a wide verity of machine learning, statistical, and mathematical modeling techniques to accurately quantify the risk of wildfires, floods, and the heat island effect in Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia. We are now working on new models and publishing tangential results
